Two days; £125.00 (including evening event and light-lunch)
Conjure beasts, summon demons, enlist the gods... An invitation to delve into the ancient art of storytelling from seasoned performers Stephen Park and Wilf Merttens. A two day workshop designed to introduce you to the diverse skills of performance relevant to the indefinable practice of telling stories, from imagined geographies to "staying in the now". Have no fear, the emphasis will be on playful improvisation and not word-perfect-recital. No previous experience necessary just bring along a story, be it Greek myth, Grimm tale or protracted anecdote, and the desire to experience the thrill of performance. Wilf is a young award winning poet and storyteller, and Stephen is a middle aged comic performer, artist and teacher.
The evening event will feature Wilf Merttens and music by Jackie Oates.
